Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Global Engineering Services and the Chief Engineering/Product Engineering organization. Responsibilities will include supporting Momentum Factory Support, DMAIC and Supplier support activities impacting the Honeywell South Bend Location and the sister divisions supporting that facility. In addition, you will have Class II Design Authority for the Engines Site for Phase 6 ECNs supporting ISC and will be leading the Engineering effort to release those ECNs as well as MRB authority. You will partner with world class engineer's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity. **Key Responsibilities** + Class II Design Authority for Phase 6 ECNs (Dwg changes in a production support environment); Eng assessment for execution, ECN generation, Coordination with Engineering teams for resolution to various Engineering actions driven by Factory support and supplier request for engineering actions + Technical customer interface for submitting approval packages for Dwg changes, this may require meetings, documentation preparation and coordination with various Customer support teams; experience in dealing with DCMA approval is highly desirable + Technical assessment execution and coordination with extended engineering teams for substantiation analysis such stress, alternate Material, dimensional variation, qualification and testing, engineering approval requirement execution etc. to ensure product integrity for both day-to-day operations support and supplier requesting Engineering actions. + Work closely with ISC Engineering/Manufacturing, Operations & Quality for insight on impact by engineering actions for prioritization on execution, this will be related to process or yield improvements requiring a dwg update or implementing into a dwg a root caused properly documented on RCA method. + Drive engineering actions for supplier request; feasibility, plan for execution with extended engineering teams + Work independently & effectively within cross functional teams + Integration with ISC effort events as well as agile projects to review proposed processing changes to ensure product integrity + Schedule and Milestone development/mgmt. + Project Performance Metrics/reporting **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree in engineering + Due to contractual government and export control US citizenship is a must + Minimum 4 years' experience in engineering (Desing, Manufacturing, Testing) + 1-year minimum experience interacting with customer approval for Engineering changes **WE VALUE** + Experience in Aerospace Design and Manufacturing + Understand Aerospace integrated platforms Engines-APUs-Cabin Control-Valve Controls-Electric Power Units + Knowledge of design practices and qualification requirements + Create, support and enhance specific action plans + Experience working with Cross Functional Teams + Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events. + Promote customer relationships + Program management skills + Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience. + Project Performance metrics **U.S. PERSONS CONSIDERATIONS:** Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. **BENEFITS AT HONEYWELL:** In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
