Position Summary:

The Trading Partner Operations Analyst is a detail-oriented individual who will focus on operational tasks related to trading partner management. They will contribute to trend identification, problem solving, and mentorship within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for optimizing operational processes.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

Operations Task-Based Work (80%)

  • Execute daily operational tasks related to trading partner management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.  
  • Prioritize work effectively to ensure completion of assigned tasks within specified turnaround times and adhering to established goals.
  • Comply with operational processes and standards to support business objectives and enhance partner relationships.

Trend Identification & Problem Solving (10%)

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within trading partner operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to operational challenges.

Mentorship/Coaching & Continuous Education (10%)

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members in trading partner operations.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred. 
  • 0-2 years of experience in trading partner management, healthcare operations, or a related field. 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with trading partner management processes or payer systems is a plus.

 

Expected Compensation

$32,000 - $54,000

The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates.  Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
