Responsibilities: As a member of our transportation team, you'll: Supervise and support helpers while on the truck, ensuring smooth operations. Conduct daily checks to ensure the truck's safety and efficiency, maintaining meticulous records. Collaborate closely with our Transportation/Operations Supervisor for effective coordination. Handle special pick-ups and deliveries with precision and care. Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring items are stacked securely. Work with the Operations Department to facilitate the pickup and delivery process smoothly. Adhere to all safety standards and DOT requirements diligently. Qualifications: Valid For Hire endorsement (or Chauffeur’s if prior to 2017) without limiting factors. Maintained DOT physical and compliance with all applicable requirements. Clear background check and ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings. Familiarity with the city and surrounding areas. Professional demeanor and commitment to safety at all times. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends.
