Position Details: Cardiac Cath Lab Manager- Wichita, KS
Location : Wichita, KS
Project Duration : Full-time Permanent Specialty : RN Charge/Supv - Nursing Administration Available Shifts: Days: Days (Rotating Weekends) Relocation: Case by Case Job Summary and Qualifications: Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily operations of the Cardiovascular departments. Assists with workflow as necessary. In collaboration with other Cardiovascular/Imaging managers, performs the duties of the director in his/her absence. Provides a variety of administrative -related functions including responsibility for the operational management of Imaging Services departments.
What qualifications you will need: - Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- OR Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of school of professional nursing
- Bachelor's degree
- BLS, ACLS
Experience Requirements:: - Strong Cath Lab RN experience or RT experience, a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
- Must have strong team building, strong clinical skills, strong leadership skills
Additional Information: - Manager will be in charge of several departments - Cath Labs at both campuses (Wesley Hillside & Wesley Woodlawn), managing electrophysiology labs at both campuses, echo-cardiogram services at both campuses.
- Growing Department
- The facility has strong department leads who can handle the day to day aspects. Managers will be available for disciplinary issues, jumping in on cases, coaching and team building.
Monthly Department Volume: - Cath Lab Hillside - sees about 140-170 per month (just cath procedures)
- Echo procedures - close to 600-700 per month
- Cath Lab at Woodlawn - average 40 cases per month
- EP between both campuses - running close to 50-60 cases per month
