Position: 2nd Shift Dock Worker / Warehouse Associate
Location: On-Site - Chicagoland Area
Shift: 2nd Shift

We are seeking motivated and reliable Dock Workers to join our 2nd shift warehouse team. If you're a seasoned forklift operator or looking for a better opportunity with room to grow, this position is for you!
Position Summary
The Dock Worker is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight , ensuring accuracy to prevent shipping errors, customer claims, or complaints. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that plays a critical part in our shipping and logistics operations.
Essential Functions

• Load and unload trailers in a safe and timely manner
• Perform re-weighs during each shift
• Conduct daily freight inspections and equipment checks
• Inspect trailers for suitability prior to loading
• Recoup, palletize, and shrink wrap freight as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of basic dock procedures
• Forklift experience in a dock or warehouse setting
• Ability to identify and report recurring problems or safety issues
• 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred but not required

Credentials & Experience

• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
