We are looking for an Entry Level Events Assistant to provide support in the coordination and execution of events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Job: Full time
Pay Range: $1250 - $1750 weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in event planning and coordination tasks, such as venue selection, contract negotiations, and logistics management
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Manage attendee registration and communication, including handling inquiries and troubleshooting registration issues
- Assist in developing and implementing event marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and promotional materials
- Support the on-site execution of events, including set-up, tear-down, and troubleshooting any issues
- Conduct post-event evaluations and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain event databases, track event metrics, and generate reports as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
