Fund Accountant
Exciting Opportunity in South Florida! A leading organization is seeking a dynamic Fund Accountant to join their expanding team. This role offers a pivotal opportunity for the successful candidate to ensure precise financial data accuracy, oversee fixed assets management, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and drive the month-end closing process.

Duties:

• Overseeing accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reporting by implementing and maintaining internal control systems.
• Managing and maintain fixed assets, accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets such as consolidations and eliminations.
• Lead month end and year end close process and ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Handling investor reporting, preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Management of development projects, including budgets and variance analysis.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field of study
• 5+ year of experience in commercial, fund, investment, or construction accounting preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills is a must
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
