If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, as an Inside Sales Engineer you will increase revenue by providing superior customer service and technical support to Rosemount sales representatives and their customers in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total support to Rosemount sales representatives and their customers by providing technical support, pre-sale, and post-sale activities.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers and sales representatives.
  • Provide general technical support on all Rosemount products.
  • Take ownership to understand the customers needs.
  • Effectively offer product alternatives for customers based on clear application requirements to best meet customer requirements and support sales objectives.
  • Maximize scope of supply.
  • Recognize that a customer of one product could also purchase other Rosemount products.
  • Demonstrate proactive selling of Rosemount products.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products.
  • Support Rosemount sales force, specifically account goals and strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with outside sales force regarding sales activity.
  • Generate leads for the sales force through active listening and probing for customer requirements and opportunities.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $70,000-$74,000annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
