Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Investment Analyst to join our client's team in the Twin Cities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in investment analysis who can deliver insightful recommendations to the firm. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analysis on investment opportunities, assessing asset condition, financial performance, and risk factors.
• Evaluate the structure and performance of complex financial products to identify and prioritize potential risks.
• Analyze and compare performance relative to industry peers and prevailing market conditions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and provide recommendations to clients based on findings, both in written and verbal formats.
• Manage the lifecycle of assigned investment reviews, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Perform analysis on investment assessing their financial status, controls, and overall investment quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control and consistency in reviews.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, building relationships and sharing insights.
• Support clients by leveraging analysis to enable informed investment decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degree such as M.B.A., or equivalent qualification is strongly preferred
CFA, CAIA or CPA highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis, financial services, auditing, private equity, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Passion for financial markets and familiarity with financial terminology and securities regulations.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
