Job Description
About the Position(s):
We are seeking 2–3 Licensed Massage Therapists to join our in-clinic team, as well as 3–4 LMTs in the area interested in part-time contract work to support larger-volume needs.
In-clinic positions are full-time and require availability on Tuesdays (full day), Thursdays (full day), and Saturdays (10–4). These roles are designed for therapists who want to grow in their profession. We provide extensive training, mentorship, and opportunities to specialize in advanced techniques.
1–2 Massage Room Therapists: Work primarily in massage treatment rooms, with the opportunity to build advanced skills in areas such as athletics, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), neuro evaluations, and TMJD/headache treatment.
1 Chiropractor-Assist Therapist: Work collaboratively with our Chiropractor, providing integrated care primarily in the chiropractic treatment room, with some sessions in the massage room.
For all in-clinic positions, prior experience in specialty areas is not required—we’ll help you develop the expertise.
Contractor opportunities are part-time and a great fit for therapists seeking flexible, supplemental work. These roles are primarily athletics-focused, with occasional opportunities in corporate wellness settings.
A good fit for our team will:
Enjoy collaboration and bring a low-ego, team-first attitude
Resonate with our values outlined above
Show curiosity about a whole-body approach to care and be eager to develop assessment skills
Value the opportunity to provide individualized care
Enjoy analysis and problem-solving
Be passionate about the clinical applications of massage therapy
Maintain an “always learning” mindset
Above all, we’re looking for someone who’s excited to grow with us and contribute to a supportive, client-centered environment
Requirements:
Licensure in the State of Georgia (recent graduates who are not yet licensed are welcome to apply but can not be hired until fully licensed)
Knowledge of or willingness to learn:
Orthopedic Assessments
Tom Myers Anatomy Trains
Preferences:
Saturday and some weekday evening availability preferred
Experience in customer service, client communication, or sales is a plus; alternatively, introverts who are comfortable following a repeatable process to connect with new clients are also valued
A background in athletics is a plus but not required
For in-clinic positions, knowledge of—or willingness to learn—at least one of the following:
TMJD assessment and treatment
Corrective Exercise (NASM - CES)
MLD massage
Comprehensive training is provided; no prior experience required.
If the above seems like a good fit for you, please respond to amanda@lifemovesmt.com, and we can set up a time for you to come into the office to discuss further. No formal resume required, but please do include some notes on relevant previous experience (i.e. customer service/sales/management, athletics, and/or as a Massage Therapist) and how your goals align with what is outlined above.
Company DescriptionAt Life Moves MT, our model is centered around the needs of the human body. We integrate massage therapy with chiropractic care in a truly collaborative way: Massage Therapists may work in treatment rooms or alongside our Chiropractors, alternating services within the same session when appropriate. This allows soft-tissue restrictions to be addressed before, during, and after adjustments—maximizing results for our patients. Since 2017, we’ve been refining this unique approach, and the outcomes we see every day continue to fuel our passion for whole-body, patient-centered care.
As a team, we live by our core values: enthusiastic curiosity and continual learning, proactive advocacy, collaboration, and respect and acceptance. Day-to-day, this means we strive to communicate with positivity, develop self-awareness, practice accountability, and support balance between work and life. We believe growth—both professional and personal—is something we pursue not just for our patients, but with each other and within ourselves. Our clients are as diverse as our team: from elite and professional athletes, to busy professionals, to those recovering from joint or soft tissue injury, managing autoimmune conditions, or maintaining an active lifestyle as they age.At Life Moves MT, our model is centered around the needs of the human body.
