Position:
We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in fiber installation, splicing, and testing who takes pride in delivering professional, code-compliant work.
Qualifications:
Fiber optic splicing (fusion & mechanical)
Fiber optic testing with Fluke test equipment
OTDR and power meter experience
Indoor and outdoor fiber installation (riser, backbone, OSP)
Fiber optic breakout and termination
Ability to read and follow construction drawings and industry standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred:
Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems a plus
Familiarity with BICSI and EIA/TIA standards
