****Your day to day****
As Sous Chef of Luce Restaurant, youll supervise all kitchen activities and prepare our delicious food - helping create memorable experiences for guests.
Youll also ensure quality, kitchen maintenance, and inventory functions kept to our high standards - to make sure your kitchen is always running smoothly.
This One Michelin Star kitchen is not for the faint of heart! Quality is key and expectations are high, so bring your creativity and energy, and contribute to our overall team's success!
****What we need from you****
Minimum of two years of high-end/fine dining cook experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience. Candidate with prior Michelin experience will receive priority consideration.
This is a high-volume and high-quality deliverable kitchen, and you must be able to work well under pressure.
Partner - you'll work well with others and be open to regular feedback.
Strong sometimes youll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling.
Literate youll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic math.
Flexible night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
Compliant as well as meeting local laws on food handling, youll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
Articulate a great communicator, youll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
