\n• Serve as Staff Development Coordinator for the nursing department
\n• Long-term care experience required
\n• SPICE certification required
\n• Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina at time of submission
\n• Orient new employees to the facility
\n• Provide or schedule educational in-services for nurses and nursing staff
\n• Conduct annual skills day for nurses and nursing assistants
\n• Ensure all nursing staff licenses and certifications remain current
\n• Complete and submit nursing assistant renewal forms
\n• Monitor and investigate all incidents and medication errors within the facility
\n• Monitor infections within the facility
\n• Must be available to provide direct patient care as needed 24/7
\n• Assume on-call nurse responsibility per facility policy
\n• Two supervisory references required
\n• Copy of certifications required
