Epic Analyst Position

This position is hybrid and will be required to work onsite in Madison, WI as needed. We are looking for a resourceful, passionate Epic Analyst to specialize in Cogito reporting tools. You will play an important role in supporting the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the Epic reporting tools. This role involves collaborating with clinical and technical teams to develop and optimize Epic reporting processes and deliver actionable data to support informed decision-making across our organization. This role will focus on Tapestry and Resolute Professional Billing analytics.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and strong instincts for problem-solving, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. You have a demonstrated ability to build relationships with many different areas of the business and you can tailor your questions and language for your audience. Collaboration, curiosity, and being an expert advisor are among your proven top skill sets. You should also be willing to independently research technology outside of your current skill set and comfort zone. Knowing the answer is great, being able to find the answer is better.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Epic reporting solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement complex reports and dashboards using Epic's reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports, Reporting Workbench, Radar, and Clarity.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the reporting environment.
• Provide training and support to end-users on report utilization and interpretation.
• Stay current with Epic's reporting best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Epic upgrade support, implementing new functionality based on organizational strategy, and assisting with the development of training materials and analytics within the Epic Healthy Planet application.
• IT subject matter expert for approved projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2-3 years of healthcare or insurance industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative approach with users in assessing needs and requirements.
• Effective planning, organizational and communication skills required.
