Job Description
- Job Title: Junior C++ Developer
- Location: Initially remote, then onsite in Manassas, VA
- Duration: 12+ Months
- Interview Process: MS Teams Video interview for non-local candidates, in-person interview for local candidates
- Skill Requirements: 3 years experience in UNIX/LINUX development, C++, and Java; 4 years in Python and Perl; and knowledge in other scripting languages
- Role: To support the messaging team in the development and testing of central and customer-facing messaging applications
- Responsibilities:
- Quick onboarding and supporting in development and testing of applications
- Using Python, C++, or Java to support, enhance, debug and design new features for applications
- Understanding how each application interacts with other layers and how it relates to messaging
- Having hands-on experience working with UNIX/LINUX systems including command line navigation and scripting languages
- Integrating complex messaging components and ensuring interface requirements are met
- Contributing to test automation, writing unit test cases, and supporting the QA environment
